These are a few of the images that I took during a Christening at the beginning of April this year. The day began at the family home, where this gorgeous little baby’s family had gathered, before heading to the church. We started off by capturing some images of him on his own and then with his parents, grandparents and godparents. We then headed to the church for the actual ceremony. This was a new challenge for me as although the church was very large, there was not very much natural light. It was also an experience in trying to stand in the right place at the right time! The last step was at the “Salle des Fêtes” where the family spent the rest of the afternoon celebrating. The room was decorated with a combination of several colours and there was lots of lovely detail to photograph. I spent time capturing all the guests and took some very lovely images with the great grandparents too. This little chap was as good as gold all day – one happy and calm baby!! Enjoy the images!
