Until now I’ve photographed many young families but not so many teenagers. My goddaughter is not yet a teenager, but her brother is, so I took the opportunity to photograph them both recently. My goddaughter was very enthusiastic – which is the advantage of older children. I’m pretty certain that she’d be quite happy to participate again in a portrait session in the future! Her brother was not so keen to start off with, but once his collection of hats was incorporated into the shoot and his parents and sister were nowhere to be seen, he soon started to enjoy himself. The rain held off later in the afternoon long enough for us to take a quick trip to the nearby school grounds and park to get some more action shots.
