A special blog post for me today. I was thrilled in the summer last year, to be asked by some very good and long term friends to photograph them together with their gorgeous nearly 6 month old baby boy. It’s always a pleasure for me to take portrait images, but when there is an emotional connection, as was the case here, it adds just that extra special feeling to the time spent together. This lovely baby was as good as gold and we were able to do the portrait sessions in two parts. This kept things short for the baby and avoided him getting too tired too quickly! We began the first part late afternoon just before his Dad got home and then carried on the following morning with a very smiley and rested baby!  I’m delighted with the result….I think that the parents are too!!
